In Seductive Fantasy, Property is Easy Money

You often see pictures of rich people in seductive lifestyles. Or, at least, in a lifestyle that gives the appearance of rich.

You know the pose: standing beside their Lamborghini, hands folded around their chest, smiling the smug smiles of those who think they’ve got it figured out.

I Am Not One Of Those ‘Rich’ People – But I’m Wealthy Enough On My Own Terms.

Apart from being painfully aware that I have almost nothing truly figured out, I detest the idea of being ‘rich’. It’s not a pleasant thought to me.

Thinking of ‘Rich’ is thinking Bad Money.

“Getting Rich Fast” in Property – Myth or Reality?

People want to get things fast. The sooner, the better. There is no time to wait.

Give it to me yesterday, please.

As expected, getting rich or building wealth does not make an exception. There are a lot of programs that promise fast results, if not instant. They are oriented towards the subconscious mind of the individual which has been programmed by the machine to want everything as quickly as possible.

Ironically, this is also why we never accomplish anything. We want things now so bad that we don’t stick with the plan long enough to make a difference. Even when you’re on the right track you have to wait for the train to arrive where you’re headed.

As we look forward to another new year, I have a question for you. Actually, a series of them. But the first question is…

Are you rich?

I’ll come back to that one. Before you answer, ask yourself:

Is Capital Gains the Singapore Property Wealth Trap?
We can see many dream-to-become-millionaire property investors on the streets. It’s interesting to see how dreamers of ‘The Next Singapore Property Millionaire’, behave like the hilarious first round participants of ‘The Next Singapore Idol’ contest who are thick-skinned enough to believe they have ‘it’.

My late multimillionaire grandfather said, “The Rich makes money with control, while dreamers always make money on hope… and hope is their only saviour.”

The Boring Secret to Getting Rich is…

On day, a rich dad took his son on a trip; he wanted to show him how poor people live.

They spent time on a farm of a poor family.

On the way home, dad asked, “Did you see how poor they are? What did you learn?”

Son said, “We have one dog, they have four dogs.”

“We have a pool, they have rivers.”

“We have lanterns at night, they have stars”

“We buy our organic food, they grow theirs.”

“We have walls from our expensive houses to protect us, they have friends.”

“We have nice cars to drive and show others, they have freedom of time with their love ones.”

“We have latest tech gadgets; they have real touch & love.”

The son said, “Thanks dad for showing me how poor we are.”
